Kids' Mouse Races
A set of 'mini' Rat Races for kids age 6 to 16! Medals to the top 3 girls and boys in each age group. Awards ceremony at noon, at the Equestrian Club.
Online registration is now closed, but you can still sign up in person on race day, Saturday May 31st from 8:00-9:30am (Cross Country only).

Age Groups
Kids Ages 6-7 & 8-9
Start: 11:00am, on B&K Road 1km up from Equestrian Club

Similiar to last year, riders ages 6-9 will begin on B&K approx 1 km up from the Equestrian Club, where the
adult race exits the trail. Starting at 11:00am, they will follow the main pack up B&K and then veer right and down Black
Tower to the finish line. Average time to complete is 22 minutes.
Kids Ages 10-12
Start: 10:35-10:40am, at logging trucks near entrance to Equestrian Club

This is also the same course as last year. Riders ages 10-12 will begin west of B&K road, across from the entrance to
the Equestrian Club. Once the adult racers have gone through (approx 10:35am), the kids will begin 5 minutes later. They will
follow the main race course — to B&K and down into Black Tower to the finish line. Average time to complete
is 40 minutes.
Kids Ages 13-14 & 15-16
Start: 11:00am, on B&K Road at Clack/Flume Forest Road

Riders ages 13-16 will start 1.8 km from the Equestrian Club at the intersection of B&K and Clack/Flume Forest
Road. The start will be at 11:00am. From
Clack/Flume Forest Road, riders will head west towards the biggest climb. It is a 8.6 km loop, with 245 metres of
climbing and 383 metres of descending. Average time to complete is 50 minutes.
